Why welcome me into your Educational setting?
As someone who is a mum, used to work as a Nursery assistant and a nanny, I fully understand the effort and energy that goes into being a childcare professional. as rewarding as it is, as a childcare provider you are having to pour out endless care, attention, education, comfort and not to mention Entertainment on a daily basis. By booking me and adding songs, rhymes & story times as an Extracurricular addition to your curriculum, you can allow your amazing staff to have a few moments to take a breath, catch up
on their Observations if needed and give the children a little something different.
For 0 to 2 year olds
I work closely with the E.Y.F.S model and use a lot of affirmation throughout the session, reminding the children to always “clap for yourself”, celebrating and cheering themselves on.
with the instruments, scarves and bubbles, we are exploring sensory stimulants and motor skills in a fun and imaginative way. all while singing and moving to new and familiar songs.
For 3+ year olds
For older children, i believe it is important to work on teaching confidence in a tangible way, helping them believe in their own self worth. this class would be run like an early years drama class. It would not be about learning lines or creating plays but more about letting go and having fun, using our imaginations. not worrying about what anyone thinks because we’re all doing the same thing; learning, growing and being silly together.
I believe being confident in ones self is one of the most important life skills there is to learn - once you have confidence in who you are; self love, self esteem, self worth and self acceptance can be achieved.
therefore happiness is near by.
